I was looking for an easy chicken curry recipe and that was when I stumbled upon this. This has a unique flavor and is a perfect combination with steamed rice and pickle :).

What's in it:
- Chicken : 1/2 kg
- Onion : 2 large
- Salt : to taste
I. To Grind to a paste :
- Fennel seeds : 1 tsp
- Ginger Garlic paste : 3 tsp
- Green chillies : 2-3
- Coriander Powder : 2 tsp
- Garam masala : 1 tsp
- Chicken masala : 1 tsp
II. To Grind to a paste :
- Coriander leaves : 1/2 cup loosely packed
- Tomato : 1 large
Let's do it !
- Heat oil in a non stick kadai and add sliced onions , saute.
- Grind the (I) ingredients to a fine paste. Add this to the onions.
- Saute till they are cooked.
- Grind (II) ingredients with some water and add this to the kadai.
- Add some more water and salt at this stage.
- Now add the cleaned chicken pieces, give a stir and close the kadai with a lid. Let it get cooked well.
- Check in between whether the chicken is cooked; add more water if needed.
- Once the gravy reaches a semi-thick consistency, switch off the flame.
- The gravy tends to thicken as it sits. So adjust water level accordingly.
- Serve hot with plain rice.
