Ok, so let me confess, it is not paneer; I used tofu ;) ( very health conscious, you know!). This recipe involves some time, but the end result is worth the wait ! You can eat it as such or if you wish you can relish it with some fried rice/naan/chapati,etc. :)

Let's do it !
- Cut the paneer/tofu pieces into cubes. In a bowl, mix the ingredients under 'for marination' with enough salt to taste. Add paneer/tofu cubes top this and let this marinade rest for 1 hour.
- After an hour, toast the paneer pieces on a non stick tawa/ griddle. Toast till they are golden brown in color.
- Heat some oil in a kadai, add the cumin seeds when oil is hot.
- Add onions, ginger garlic paste and saute till they are golden brown.
- Now add coriander powder, chilli powder, garam masala and salt, saute well.
- To this add tomato puree and let it boil till raw smell leaves.
- Add the toasted paneer pieces and let it boil in the gravy so that flavor seeps in.
- Now add kasuri methi and cream/ full cream milk. Give a stir and switch off the stove.
- Garnish with some fresh cream and coriander leaves.
Great job! Looks delicious!!!!
