Yet another chicken recipe. Believe me, this chicken fry is not the usual one, this is a very special one and has a different taste. This makes an excellent combination with rice/chapatis.

What's in it :
- Chicken : 1/2 kg
- Rice powder : 2 tsp
- Oil to fry
For marination :
- Turmeric powder : 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala : 1 tsp
- Kashmiri chilly powder : 2 tsp
- Pepper powder : 1 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste : 2 tsp
- Shallots : 4 nos.
- Tomato : 1 small cubed
- Mint leaves : 1 tbsp chopped
- Coriander leaves : 2 tbsps
- Lemon juice : 1 tsp
- Salt : to taste
Let's do it !
- Grind all the ingredients under "for marination" with some water into a smooth paste. Marinate the cleaned chicken pieces with this and refrigerate for an hour or two.
- When ready for frying, add rice powder to the chicken and mix well.
- Heat oil in a non stick pan, shallow fry the chicken pieces.Add some curry leaves also to the oil.
- Fry all sides turning the chicken over.
- Drain the fried pieces on to a paper towel.
- Serve hot with sliced onions and drizzle some lemon juice if you wish.
