Back with a bang ! I have been very busy ( read : lazy ) all these days doing many things ( read : fooling around ) ; Then I felt it's high time I get back to work. There were busy days in between of course, we had an awesome trip to the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas ! But that was just for 4 days ;) . Anyways I have geared up again with a very full refrigerator. Now coming to this one, Mutton is not a regular member in our menu though we attack it whenever we go to any Halal store. Usually mutton coconut curry is made, but this was a day when I wanted to cook a dry mutton dish. This makes an excellent combination with roti/ ghee rice/ white rice.
What's in it:

To Temper :

- Cinnamon : 1 stick
To Marinate :

Let's do it !
- Marinate the cleaned mutton pieces with items under 'to marinate' for 1 or 2 hours.
- Heat oil in a kadai, add the ingredients under 'to temper' list.
- When it is done, add shallots and onions and saute till they are golden brown.
- Add in the ginger garlic paste, saute till raw smell leaves.
- Now drop in the tomatoes, saute till they turn mushy.
- Now comes the masalas : coriander powder, pepper powder and garam masala.
