Award time !

Now, Award time ! This is the first ever award I received. Thank you Anupa for this honour :) ! Anupa nominated me for Liebster Award at first, and so did Beulah of Fullscoops and Shereen of Recipelisted. I thank three of you for this wonderful award ! 

These are ten questions which Anupa asked me. 

1. What made you start blogging ? Has it brought any positive changes in you ?
My answer : Joblessness made me start blogging :). But then, it seems like I have more than enough jobs to do now :).  The major positive change I found out is my interest in food photography. I am not even at the doorstep, but I definitely would love to learn and improve myself.

2. Apart from blogging, what are your hobbies ?
My answer : Music is my world, apart from a bit of reading and sketching.

3.What made you choose your blog name?
My answer : A chat with a friend sparked this name. 

4.Do you hate any veggie or dish in particular ?
My answer : I totally despise chembu/colocasia. I would rather starve than being fed with chembu :P.

5.What is the one thing that you cannot live without ?
My answer : My ipod.

6.A place you have always wished to visit.
My answer : The Wizarding world of Harry Potter. Someday, but surely :).

7.Who is your role model?
My answer : My grandpa. The perfect person I have ever met.

8.What is your favorite cuisine?
My answer : Without a hitch, South Indian.

9.Who is your favorite chef ?
My answer : I definitely do not know many of them. From the mediocre knowledge I have, I would pick out Gordon Ramsey, Anjum Anand and Vah Chef :).

10.Who motivated you to blog ?
My answer : My husband. He supports me in all ways, never denies anything I want, be it props or even a DSLR recently :).

 1. Which is your favorite dish?
My answer : Chicken/paneer tikka

2. How did you start blogging?

My answer : As a remedy for my boredom. :)

3. What was your motivation to start blogging?

My answer : The many beautiful blogs out there in the internet.

4. Who inspires you, in terms of cooking?

My answer : my mom

5. Which food can you never give up?

My answer : Chicken

6. Who is your best critic?

My answer : My husband.

7. Do you prefer cooking or baking?

My answer : Of late, I strongly am inclined towards baking.

8. Which is your favorite cookery show?

My answer : Top Chef

9. What is the one ingredient in baking that you always have at hand?

My answer : Butter

10. When did you start cooking?

My answer : Just after college.

1. Which is your signature recipe in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian?
My answer : Prawns curry and Gobi manchurian. 

2. If you are asked to make a curry in 20 minutes what curry will you make?Provide the link if you have it in your blog.
My answer : Fish curry ( not yet posted).

3. According to you which is the most essential kitchen equipment which can never  be replaced?
My answer : The good old oven !

4. What will you do first in kitchen when you enter to cook in mornings?
My answer : Make a cup of coffee/tea.

5. When will you feel very happy? While cooking food or serving food ?
My answer : When the served food is vanished soon :)

6. What was the worst dish you ever made and decided not to try it again.
My answer : A mushroom gravy.

7. When will you be happy? While tasting the food you cooked or in restaurant or in friends place?
My answer : All three, depending on my mood.

8. If you a day off from cooking what will you do?
My answer : I will order a pizza and watch lots of movies :)

9. Did you visit my blog?Which recipe you liked to try from my blog?
My answer : Yes I did ! You have a great space ! I would really love to try this chicken recipe from your blog.
