This is one easy kurma/korma which can be had as a side-dish for chapatis/ dosas/ ghee rice, etc. This recipe can also come in handy when you have no time to chop mixed veggies for a veg kurma ;) . It's just some mushrooms and frozen green peas !

What's in it :
- Button mushrooms - chopped : 1/2 cup
- Frozen/ fresh green peas : 1/4 cup
- Onions : 1 chopped
- Tomato : 1 big chopped
- Saunf/ fennel seeds : 1 tsp
- Cloves : 2 or 3 nos.
- Bay leaf : 1
- Coriander Powder : 1 1/2 tsp
- Green chillies : 1 or 2 nos.
- Garam masala : 1 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste : 1 tsp
- Salt : to taste
To Grind :
- Coconut shredded : 1/4 cup
- Fennel seeds : 1/4 tsp
- Channa dal / pottu kadalai : 1/4 tsp
- Khus khus ( optional) : 1/4 tsp
Let's make it!
- Heat some oil in a non stick kadai. Aadd fennel seeds, cloves and bay leaf into it.
- Add onions and saute till golden brown.
- Add ginger garlic paste to it and saute till the raw smell leaves.
- Add coriander powder, garam masala and green chillies to it.
- Put in the chopped tomato and mix well till everything blends well to form a paste like consistency.Add salt.
- Add the chopped mushrooms and frozen peas to this and add a cup of water.
- Close the kadai and let the mushroos and peas get cooked.
- In the meantime, grind the ingredients under 'to grind' to a sooth paste with some water.
- Add this ground paste to the gravy and let it boil for some more time.
- Switch off the flame when it reaches a semi-thick consistency.
- Garnish with some fresh coriander leaves. Enjoy !
