The 25th post - a melt-in-mouth sweet, Besan laddoo. The recipe is so easy and can be made in a jiffy. My next target is boondi laddoo ;).
Source : Jeyashri's Kitchen
Makes 10 laddoos.
Ingredients :
- Besan flour/ Chickpea flour : 1 cup
- Powdered sugar : 3/4 cup
- Melted ghee/clarified butter : 1/4 cup
- Cashewnuts and raisins : 5 to 10 nos. roasted in ghee
- Cardamom pods crushed : 2-3 nos.
Let's do it :
- In a nonstick pan, add 1 tsp ghee and add the besan flour and roast well till the raw smell leaves.
- Transfer this to a plate, add the sugar to this and mix well.
- Add the melted and hot ghee to this and mix well.
- Add the roasted nuts and cardamom.
- Smear some ghee on hands and make balls out of the mixture.
- Keep aside. Let it rest for 15 minutes, then it will get firm.
